Finally finished the bathroom

After a much longer construction period that first expected, finally the new bathroom upstairs is finished. Considering how the bathroom used to look, I am very hape with the final result.

Strange view

One of the projects that we are working on at work is a new type of FPSO platform developed by Sevanmarine. The first one everbuilt of this type has just arrived Amsterdam after several week traveling from the shipyard in China. In Amsterdam it will be fitted with all the topside equipment before beeing towed to the Gulf of Mexico, where it will be put into service.

Fun racing on the bike again.

After a long hart winter with a lot of work on the house, Lasse finaly hired a carpenter to finish the bathroom, and to get more time riding his new bike. It is very nice to be abole to ride everybody in my Norwegian club again.

17 May, the Norwegian national day!

Today is the 17th of May and this is a very big day for most Norwegian, everybodt brings out the flag and national costume, parades in the street and it just one huge party all over Norway.

The nice weather is still her, but slightly colder. The bathroom is moving along and it is great looking at other pepole work for you :-) We have been doing some work in the garden as well and it is slowly looking nice, the two plum trees are looking great! Otherwise Lasse has been racing his new bike and did quite well in his last race. Well that was a small uppdate.

The summer har arrived

Just over one night we got 22 degrees and great weather we have enjoyed the last week. Here are some of the photos we took this afternoon.

Latest uppdate

It have been a while since we uppdated the blog so we felt it was time again. Lasse has been to the hospital taking out his appendix that was giving him problems, started to get lots of pain after a ride on his brand new bike (see photo). Otherwhise most of the time is used on getting all the started projects on the hose done before the summer. We have now got a new sun screen for the veranda, new front door and veranda door and the bathroom is moving very slowly at the moment however the floor is done. Selma and Haakon are really loving playing in the streets with the other kids and riding in their new hanger for the bike.
